General Comments
A pleasure and a privilege to judge the Annual Cup Show. Thanks to Terry for the invite. Thanks to my stewards, Lynette and Derek, for making my job easier, and to my wife Denise for running the kitchen on my day off! A mixed bag on the day, with some lovely mice and some that were not quite to standard. Moult seems to be prevalent at the moment. The Tan section was particularly poor, a good place to start for new fanciers. Nice to judge alongside Anne again, in total agreement with the winners. Congratulations to Simon on a beautiful Blue, best I have seen in years.

General Comments
It was a pleasure to be asked to judge this show. There were some lovely mice on show but quite a lot were moulty; the hot weather probably didn’t help. There were also some quite spotty mice who may have had mites. My section winners were all really good, especially the Best Satin, who went on to win the Mendel Gold Cup. Best in Show was a cracking Self Blue; never seen one with type like that before. My thanks to my steward, Ian Hayward-Chamberlain, for a sterling job.
