Participation in Ballots

The last ballot had an all-time low participation – only 20 ballot papers were returned. I wondered why this may have been the case and I am thinking that posting stuff has just become so inconvenient and old school that people don’t bother. An email is quick (and free!) but not anonymous. Ballot papers must be anonymous to comply with the rules, so what to do about it?
After some research, I found a quick and easy way to provide anonymous uploads through our website. You don’t need to be logged in, you can just take a photo of your ballot paper and upload it to the website, where it will be kept safe until manually downloaded.
Nothing too urgent as the next ballot is months away but hopefully, a nice way to support both the old and the new. And increase participation.
