Membership is at 118 (up 1 from last month)

Due to personal circumstances, I will have to step down as NMC Club Secretary. I have no mice at the moment and will be travelling for a while until I return to continue to breed and show mice. It has been an honour to serve the NMC as Hon. Secretary for the past three years. Thankfully, Anne Tomkins has volunteered to take the post until the next ballot. Anne has been Hon. Secretary before (2008-2012) and hence I have 100% confidence in her abilities to run things. She was voted unanimously by the Executive Committe to fill the position (see meeting minutes for the Executive meeting held on 28 Dec 2025).

I will continue to serve the NMC as Webmaster. I will also continue to maintain the show management system, which is open to any show secretary who wishes to use it. If you have questions regarding the website, or the show management system, you can reach me on webmaster@thenationalmouseclub.co.uk. For the time being, I will continue to add show reports to the website, as I have done before, so please make sure to send me your reports to this email address. It can be scans or photographs or Word documents or whatever you normally use. Also, please send me show results (BIS, BOA, Best Self, BOA Self,…) as before, so I can update the Leader Board (Top 20).

Yearbooks have been ready to post for a few weeks but due to me being abroad currently, could not be posted. Anne will post the Yearbooks as soon as she gets round to it. Apologies for the delay!

Due to my sabbatical, I will not be able to run Swinford and Halifax in 2026 (and probably 2027). Until I return, someone else needs to be found who wishes to become show secretary for these two venues. You can find the dates on our website (https://thenationalmouseclub.co.uk/show-calendar/)
