Missing Secretary’s Notes last month
The most important bit of information from last month for all of those members who have set their PayPal payments to ‘recurring’, this has stopped working and will take some time to fix, so watch for expired memberships without warning. I am notified of any expirations, so I will keep an eye out for you and will be in touch if I think something isn’t right.
Future of printed circulars
As Ruth steps down as our Editor, the NMC will be without a printed magazine. This would leave members without access to the internet missing out on the necessary information about shows and other club business. As an interim measure, until the Exec has come to a conclusion as to how we will carry on with our regular publications, I will put together the relevant information on paper and send this out to members without access to a computer or smartphone.
This is truly the end of an era but we look to the future with great optimism. I am sure the club will adapt, as it has may times before, and we will find a good solution to continue to serve our members with updates and news. Our website will of course continue with the digital version of the NMC News, which has been serving our overseas members the relevant information since we stopped sending out hard copies to them.
