Halifax Show Saved
Good news indeed: [log in to see names] has stepped up as show secretary for the Halifax Show mouse section. I have yet to add it to the website, which I will try to do by the end of the week. Huge thanks to Steph, who is going to be travelling from Devon to Yorkshire to keep this event alive!
Yet Another New Opportunity For The NMC
The NMC was approached by Quintessentially British Events with an invitation to have a mouse section at some of their events. Unfortunately, next events are all in August and one is clashing with Halifax. We didn’t want to pass up this great opportunity and felt obliged to at least be present at two of their events. Two members have agreed to do Cambridge and Northants Country shows (watch the Show Calendar for details). This is a curse and a blessing at the same time as we just resurrected Halifax. With Cambridge being on the same day, it is to expected that both events will suffer a reduction in entries but we hope that our presence at both shows will help promote the NMC.
Nice to see the membership going up every month. Will there be reports from the Treasurer, President, Cup Secretary, Social Media officer? We haven’t had them for some time, or at all in one case, yet these officers are integral to the running of the club.
Well done Steph, you are a real asset to the mouse fancy.
