General Comments

Had an amazing judging experience at swannington with 135 mice !!
Thoroughly enjoyed my self , thankyou to Stephan for runnin an incredible show , Dave for supplying the amazing chilli and to my stewards Simon and Robert
The mice didn’t give me an easy time choosing but the ones I did just had that “sparkle” over the rest.
A lot of amazing mice to come up for future show !
A massive massive well done to Dave gillard for winning BIS with that amazing champagne tan A mouse that definitely needs to be seen in the flesh !

Selfs

White (pink eye) Ad – 3

1st R Hogg B Big mouse with cracking type and bright white colour
2nd L Walker B Just behind 1st with colour good type
3rd L Walker D Chipped ear,snipey face and moult good size though

White (pink eye) U8 – 9

1st R Hogg D Had my eye on this mouse from the beginning
Cracking head set,type and colour under was as thick as the top
2nd R Hogg D Good type, colour not as bright slight line on under
3rd R Hogg B Cobby build with good type slightly smaller than 1st two

Cream Ad – 3

1st S Cudbill D Lovely even cream colour with a bead eye wind on condition
2nd L Walker B Big mouse but ears and head not there
Colour good

Cream U8 – 3

1st S Cudbill B Nice colour with good type and tail set good size
2nd L Walker D Looses on finish and type line under colour okay

Black Ad – 7

1st R Walker D Good black mouse really liked the type had a slight line
Good tail,ears + feet
2nd R Walker D Slender build with line under feet not as black
3rd S Mönninghoff B Chipped ear , good colour and type

Nice colour but thin tail

1st P Hall B Amazing type on this mouse with a gleaming tan , lovely dark top with dark feet to match
2nd R Walker B Younger mouse again excellent tan with good feet definitely one for future shows
3rd P Hall B Good size and colour all round just lost on tail thickness

Black Tan U8 – 2

1st R Walker B Great tan for an U8, good thick belly fur and a nice dark top
2nd I Mitchell D Cracking feet and top for colour ! Just looses on tan + tail thickness

Chocolate Tan Ad – 4

1st P Hall B Lovely rich dark top colour + tan was incredible with a good thick under + cracking type
2nd I Mitchell D Top + under light good type on this mouse

Chocolate Tan U8 – 2

1st I Mitchell D Win on the overall finish good top coat and tan to come
2nd P Hogg D Lighter in colour all round but not a bad mouse

Champagne Tan Ad – 6

1st C Valley B This mouse WOW! The top was a fine Moët with a tangerine under ! Cracking condition + type with a bold eye
BEST TAN + BIS
2nd C Valley B Nice top colour looses on lighter tan belly nice eyes and type
3rd C Valley B Lighter all round with slightly rough coat but good size

Champagne Tan U8 – 4

1st I Mitchell B Good colour on top,tan was very deep all round Good mouse
2nd C Valley D Even top colour,slightly thinner under with some light points on nose + tail
3rd C Valley D Much lighter tan + finish but had a good bead eye

AOC Tan Ad – 5

All good type in this class
1st P Hall Blue Tan B Amazing dark blue top on this mouse + matching feet Tan very very good
2nd S Cudbill Silver Tan B Lovely typy mouse good tan and top colour was nice and light just slight tannning behind ears held this mouse back
3rd M Shutt Agouti Tan B Good eye and nice deep rich top coat with nice ticking tan could have been darker but a very healthy looking mouse

AOC Tan U8 – 4

1st I Mitchell Dove Tan D Attractive mouse with a good tan belly , top was edging on too dark but was appealing to the eye with great condition
2nd I Mitchell Blue Tan D Top was nice and dark with matching feet , the tan will come in time good mouse
3rd P Hogg Silver Tan D Nice type and good even top colour with a silky finish , lighter tan held this mouse back

Dutch Ad – 7

1st S Cudbill D Black- lovely clean cheeks,good stops and a nice saddle
2nd M Shutt B BLUE-nice colour,high saddle and good stops small eyes held this back from 1st
3rd C Valley B Choc- good dark colour with nice stops just held back with the blaze and saddle

Dutch U8 – 9

1st M Shutt D BLUE- nice even cheek markings,good saddle + stops all round a nice tractable mouse
2nd S Cudbill B BLUE- good markings all round slightly wild
3rd S Cudbill B BLACK- lower saddle than the other two , good condition

Broken Marked Ad – 2

1st S Mönninghoff D CHOC- 6 spot nice spots on body but an even patch on rump attractive mouse
2nd L Walker D BLACK 9 spot- even ears quite large patches nice condition

Broken Marked U8 – 6

1st S Cudbill D BLACK 5 spot- nice placement of the spots just needed then more evenly spread
2nd S Mönninghoff B RED 7 spot- even ears but nice placement on body good colour
3rd R Hogg D BLACK 8 spot- masked covered face needs more work

AOV Marked Ad – 3

1st S Cudbill Variegated D BLUE- very nice splash in on top just needs more on under cracking type and condition
2nd L Walker Even Marked D BLACK 10 spot – nice even spotting just needed more conditioning good type

AOV Marked U8 – 3

1st S Grimwood Banded D CINN- nice all round mouse good banding just spot on under spoils good colour too
2nd S Cudbill Variegated B BLUE- good splashing just a few “blank” patches spoil good condition and eye

2nd S Cudbill B Moult on head + back spoils very smart mouse all round with good type
3rd L Walker B Rough coat spoils, type good not as ice white

Best colour + silvering of the 3
2nd L Walker D Nice shade but again moult spoilts

3rd P Hogg D Very dark , no ticking, moulty with a line under

1st S Cudbill D Best colour and type all round even silvering with a matching under
The under coat was a dark blue
2nd L Walker D Smaller mouse not type of 1st decent in colour needs more silvering
3rd P Hogg D Moulty but will Hopfully develop into a lovely mouse good type

AOV Ad – 5

1st S Mönninghoff Pearl B Nice pale silver colour with a good white under coat very good type
2nd S Cudbill Himalayan B Big typy mouse , nice white body just needs darker points
3rd S Mönninghoff Pearl B Good eyes + light silver colour moult held this one back , good type
