GENERAL COMMENTS
Thank you Ruth for giving me the opportunity to judge an iconic Annual Show with my old friend Phil Hall, and for giving us all the opportunity to pay tribute to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by holding a minute’s silence in her honour—and to say our welcome to King Charles III.
Thank you especially to Andy Leach for stewarding for me and organising my day.
Some good mice in my sections. The winners were excellent but still work needed on many others. The BIS was an exceptional Fawn Self, as was the PEW that won the Mendel Gold Cup.
I had a thoroughly good day. Thank you to everyone who attended, and thank you to Mick Shutt for providing the judges with a lovely memento, a permanent reminder of a memorable day.
