General Comments

Another Annual! Great to judge at this show, in Sheffield’s excellent light, alongside my friend Phil. We had no disagreements in the Challenges; congratulations to Andy Leach on BIS with a lovely Cinnamon, Sarah Cudbill BOA with a Longhair which had truly spectacular long hair, and to all the other winners. Thanks too to Andy my top class steward, Stephan for running the show, and all exhibitors for making it all possible.nStock was mixed, too many unfit mice which in some cases were better than the mouse which beat them, but condition is the biggest factor in close decisions. The Tricolours seem to have taken a backward step as most of those today were Splashed mice which some white on. Keep the standards in view when breeding—it’s not just a case of putting two mice together and hoping!n
