General Comments

Another Annual! Great to judge at this show, in Sheffield’s excellent light, alongside my friend [log in to see names]. We had no disagreements in the Challenges; congratulations to [log in to see names] on BIS with a lovely Cinnamon, [log in to see names] BOA with a Longhair which had truly spectacular long hair, and to all the other winners. Thanks too to [log in to see names] my top class steward, [log in to see names] for running the show, and all exhibitors for making it all possible. Stock was mixed, too many unfit mice which in some cases were better than the mouse which beat them, but condition is the biggest factor in close decisions. The Tricolours seem to have taken a backward step as most of those today were Splashed mice which some white on. Keep the standards in view when breeding—it’s not just a case of putting two mice together and hoping!
