GENERAL COMMENTS

I was very pleased when Sarah asked me to judge the Swinford show, alongside with Kelly. Big thank you to Andrew Leach for keeping me busy and also Jenny Kew for helping later on! Steven Maynard’s Broken was a worthy BIS. Very pleased also to see Lewis Russell win BOA with a lovely, fit Splashed. It is encouraging to see new fanciers do well at shows. Steven’s Dutch persevered against strong competition in a strong class, with some entries demanding all my mouse handling skills. AOVs were a mixed bunch. Some lovely Argentes from Lewis and a nice fit Fawn Brindle from Sarah placed first in their classes. First time Roans were shown, thanks to Sarah and Judy. Saw an outstanding longhair which did not place because of its colour (black).

GENERAL COMMENTS

What a lovely show. Thank you Sarah and Sarah for your work today.
The mice in my sections were in fantastic condition, considering the heat we had recently. There were a few that I disqualified, so please always check for bald patches.
The Tan section was very difficult, there was not much in it at all. All tan mice were superb!! Excellent stewarding by Simon, thank you.
