Congratulations to Phil Hall on his recent BIS at Sowood, Phil is a very consistent winner with his Tans.

I was sorry to hear the march show was cancelled, also the April one at Manchester. On a brighter note, we have two new clubs, West Midlands, who will be hosting the Spring Cup Show, and a new club at Meldreth with their first show in June. I have been speaking to Kelly recently and she was busy designing the prize cards.

The Summer Cup Show will be held at Halifax Show in August with Sarah taking the entries. The Members Show at Harlow in June will be a Special Platinum Jubilee Show, with special cards and awards.

I mentioned in previous notes about the Self Black being popular at present, I think type has improved with this variety over the years. Reds also are exhibited in good numbers recently. Dutch type has improved I believe over the years. All these things make the mouse fancy interesting
